CursorCalc Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 10, 2026
Last updated: September 10, 2026

CursorCalc respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information CursorCalc collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

CursorCalc stores the following information locally on your device:

Your calculations, expressions, conversion amounts, and history are not uploaded to CursorCalc servers.

You can delete calculation history from the History panel. Uninstalling CursorCalc deletes the app’s other locally stored data, subject to normal iOS backup behavior controlled by Apple.

2. Currency Conversion

Currency conversion uses the Frankfurter API to download reference exchange-rate tables.

CursorCalc does not include your entered amounts, expressions, selected currency pair, calculation history, name, email address, or installation identifier in these requests. Conversion calculations are performed on your device.

Frankfurter states that its public API does not collect or log personal data, IP addresses, or request URLs. Its public service uses Cloudflare for caching, security, and aggregate traffic statistics. You can learn more at frankfurter.dev.

Currency rates are provided for general reference and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. They should not be relied upon for trading or other time-sensitive financial decisions.

3. Bug Reports

CursorCalc sends information only when you choose to submit a bug report by tapping Send.

A bug report may include:

Your calculation history and current calculations are never automatically included.

Bug reports are delivered through Google Apps Script and Gmail to cursorcalc.support@gmail.com. Google may process this information while transmitting and storing the report under the Google Privacy Policy.

The random installation identifier and request information are temporarily processed to prevent duplicate submissions, excessive requests, and service abuse.

Bug reports are used only to provide support, investigate problems, improve CursorCalc, and protect the reporting service. They are generally retained for no longer than reasonably necessary for those purposes unless longer retention is required for security, legal compliance, or resolving an ongoing issue.

Please do not include passwords, payment information, health information, or other sensitive personal information in a bug report.

4. Purchases and Tips

Optional Supporter purchases and tips are processed entirely through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit.

CursorCalc receives verified product and entitlement information from Apple so it can unlock Supporter cosmetic features, restore purchases, and confirm transactions. CursorCalc does not receive or store your payment-card number, billing address, Apple Account password, or other payment credentials.

Apple handles purchase records and payment information according to the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

CursorCalc does not:

6. Data Sharing

CursorCalc shares information only as necessary to provide the features described above:

CursorCalc does not share information with advertisers or data brokers.

We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, or defend legal rights.

7. Retention and Deletion

Local app information remains on your device until you clear it, change it, or uninstall CursorCalc.

Bug reports are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for support, troubleshooting, security, and legal purposes. Temporary anti-abuse identifiers and request records expire automatically.

To request deletion of an identifiable bug report, email cursorcalc.support@gmail.com with enough information to locate it, such as the report subject and approximate submission date. We may be unable to locate a report if it contains no information that connects it to your request.

Purchase records are managed by Apple and cannot be deleted by CursorCalc.

8. Your Choices

You may:

You may withdraw consent for optional bug-report information by not submitting the report or by disabling diagnostics before submission.

9. Data Security

CursorCalc uses reasonable technical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections for currency-rate requests and bug-report submission. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children’s Privacy

CursorCalc is a general-purpose calculator and is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children except information they may voluntarily enter into a bug report.

If you believe a child submitted personal information through a bug report, contact us so that we can attempt to remove it.

11. International Processing

Apple, Google, Frankfurter, and their infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their handling of information is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable legal protections.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when CursorCalc’s features or data practices change. The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
